Supporting Safe and Positive Colorado Schools

The CSSRC provides consultation, resources, training, and technical assistance to foster safe and secure learning environments, positive school climates, and early intervention to prevent crisis situations.

The CSSRC supports schools and local agencies in their efforts to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from all types of emergencies and crisis situations. 

SAVE THE DATE: DENVER METRO AREA SAFE SCHOOLS TRAINING

The CSSRC and CSPV will host the next prevention and school safety training in the Denver metro area on February 25 and 26th, 2010. The Conference will be held at Adams 12 Star Schools Conference Center, 1500 E. 128th Ave, Thornton, CO 80241.

Featured Speakers:

William Modzeleski, Associate Assistant Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools.

Dr. Sameer Hinduja, Associate Professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University and Co-Director of the Cyberbullying Research Center.

Georgeann DiCaprio, former Threat Assessment Specialist with the U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center.
