In an effort to refine our ability to provide resources to all types of school needs, the Colorado School Safety Resource Center is working with pilot sites across the state.
Three of the pilot sites will work extensively with the Colorado School Safety Resource Center to implement the Colorado Pilot Model for School Safety Planning, which includes: Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Recovery elements. This model is consistent with recommendations from the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, U.S. Department of Education. These pilot sites include:
